Fir timber frame cape on Beach Pond in Voluntown, CT.
The week after, the frame goes up...

2006: Former Raspberry Junction on Rt #2 in
North Stonington CT near Foxwoods Casino makes a transformation
from a craft shop to a fresh and salt water tackle shop. Stonington
Post&Beam created the new entrance designed to feel like you
are walking underneath an inverted boat. The douglas fir frame
will have a glass roof installed over the timbers to let light
into the building.
June 2006:
Completed for their Grand Opening...
January
2006: One of our latest projects is in Canterbury,
Connecticut. It is a raised cape (35 x 44) done in pine framing,
complete with a covered porch and a massive fire place...
January/February
2006: Another ongoing project is a colonial
home in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Constructed with douglas fir
framing with wraparound porch and two fire places...
