Hybrid version of Killington Design

This is a modified version of the Killington design being built in Groton, Connecticut. Because it consists of both conventional stick-built and timber frame construction, we also refer to it as a hybrid design.

The timber frame great room consists of a large living area done in R-Control panels. The ceiling has been completed in pine coated with a pickeling finish.

The entire first level (with garage) is stick-built construction with 2"x 10" studding and inlaid 2" x 6" full cross bracing for shoreline wind loads.
