Saltbox in Union, CT (2003)
This Douglas Fir framed Salt Box was constructed with standing seam roofing and many windows. It is heated with an HS Tarm Multi-fuel hot water boiler with radiant heat on the first floor and baseboard heating on the second floor. A massive fireplace along with an Oak spiral staircase, heated Blue Stone finished with brick, and beautiful Oak flooring. The boiler uses oil, wood, and coal.
