from any plans you may bring to us including conventional framing (stick
built) or log cabin.
- We also do a Structural
Panel Home precut with no timber frame. Or we can do one half timber
and one half structural panel. There are different options to building
with new energy efficient ways.
- Stonington Post & Beam will also design and cut a
frame no matter where you live. The frame can be cut and designed here
in Connecticut. You can supervise the construction of your home yourself
or hire a General Contractor to do it for you. When your foundation and
deck is ready, we will ship the frame with two of our crew to work with
your Contractor to erect the frame, or you could make this task an old-fashioned
barn raising and have our men show you and your family and friends how
to erect a 2200 sq. ft. frame in just 2 days! Then let a building contractor
take over the rest of the project for you.
- Stonington Post & Beam will also give you a complete
material list with your kit. Or if you prefer, send you a complete kit
with all material for a weather-tight shell, siding, windows, doors, shingles,
etc.
